Overview of the process with eCreators

Learning Lab
One of the most crucial steps in this process, the Learning Lab is where we meet with you to gather all the requirements for your desired LMS. The Learning Lab workshop is an opportunity for all relevant stakeholders to attend and contribute so that eCreators can get a full picture of the problems that we’re trying to solve. This workshop also creates buy-in from stakeholders within the customer’s organisation, making the job easier for the project lead. Experts from our Development, Training, and Testing teams will be present, as well as a Project Manager and Business Analyst. Having these skill-sets available allows us to understand your business needs in detail, and discuss the best way to solve the problems that lead to searching for a new LMS. We’ll also provide advice on how these requirements will be met through either standard (out of the box) functionality, or through creating custom plugins to deliver what you need.Design
The design stage involves a detailed examination of the functional and technical requirements of the eLearning solution (the deep, deep-dive). Specific functionalities will be examined to understand the technical design, framework and performance parameters of the solution. Typically the project lead, the customer’s IT team, and if integration with other systems is required, representatives from those companies will be involved in this stage.Development
After we have gained all the requirements and technical understanding of the project, we can create a development plan. This plan will include all the stages involved in the development process, which we’ll execute in a series of iterations or sprints. In some cases, we’ll overlap the Design and Development stages if an explorative approach to delivery is required, or where the overlap can reduce the overall elapsed time. Once we’ve completed the first phase of the platform build, we’ll rigorously test the LMS with user experience and your requirements in focus.User Acceptance Testing
After the development process and testing have finished on our end, we will set-up and provide you with a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Site. This site will be a duplicate of the development platform and will allow you to test the site internally in great detail. Any changes that you would like to make is then passed to us to adjust to the development platform. The UAT site is excellent because it allows you to test all user and technical qualifications in a risk-free environment. The UAT site will still be available even after the delivery of your final platform. A word of advice, plan the availability of those who will be testing the platform from your organisation. The timing of UAT will be provided in a project plan so you can book key team members. You’d hate for a project to be delayed due to the lack of availability from someone in IT, or a busy senior manager.Transition
Your LMS has reached its final stage and is ready to be deployed! We’ll now provide training to your users on how to successfully navigate the platform. Our experts from the Customer Education team will deliver this training, and we’ll customise it to you. Customised training allows you to emphasise the functions and processes most relevant to your business. Your team will also know how to use the LMS properly the first time they log in. The next step is to schedule your new eLearning platform to “go-live”, which we can either take care of or work with you to complete. We will also provide you with complete technical documentation, as well as a user guide.Support and Maintenance
After deployment of the platform, eCreators provide support and maintenance, whether you are hosted with us or on your internal systems. Our support team consists of experts in your LMS, as well as technical and development professionals, who can diagnose any back-end issues you might be having. The Enterprise Product development process at eCreators is highly collaborative. This process is done to ensure that the platform smoothly integrates with your current systems, including all the functions you require.
